Description For five days one brilliant event will be the focus of the world's jewellery industry. The HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show brings together designers and manufacturers of set jewellery and timepieces, as well as traders in loose stones and pearls, to offer their glittering wares to buyers from all over the world. Also in this exciting mix are the experts who share their knowledge in the seminar programme, and the sparkling creative talents who take part in the design contests. One of the world’s top three jewellery shows, the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show is now opening in March. As a measure of its success, last show featured 3,100 exhibitors from 48 countries and regions, with 24 group pavilions. Over 32,000 buyers came from 123 countries and regions to trade. A renowned industry expert from Italy will speak at a seminar during the fair. With consumer confidence on the upswing and global economic recovery taking hold, buyers should grasp the moment. The show is a microcosm of the market trends and design styles every industry player needs to be familiar with. It presents an amazing range of goods at different price levels, all coherently zoned for easy buyer access. The fair, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), welcomed exhibitors from Argentina, Denmark and Myanmar for the first time, and features more than a dozen product zones.
